Cyclist Damian Kevitt, who had to have his leg amputated after being hit and dragged by a vehicle on the 5 Freeway near Griffith Park in 2013, said Tuesday he will run in the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday to show that losing his leg hasn’t stop him from living his life.
Last year, Kevitt got back on his bike and founded an organization called “Finish the Ride” that works to make the streets safer for cyclists in Los Angeles.
