Long Beach Retirement Community Being Turned into Rehab Center; Residents Get Eviction Notices

Residents of The Breakers retirement community were given 60 day eviction notices this week after the building owner’s failed to renew their lease. According to the Long Beach Post, the owner chose instead to lease the building to a company that operates addiction recovery facilities.
