Los Angeles police were pursuing a driver on surface streets in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
The pursuit was taking place in the Lake Balboa area about 4:30 p.m.
A black sedan pulled over about 4:40 p.m. and a young man got out of the driver’s seat while patrol vehicles surrounded him in the 8700 block of Woodley Avenue in North Hills.
Then a young woman exited and slowly made her way to the pavement as well.
