Tiger Woods hurts wrist when he strikes a tree root on Masters ninth hole

The last thing Tiger Woods needed was another sore spot on his achy, breaky body, but he managed to hurt himself a little while hitting a ball out from under the pine trees on the ninth hole.Woods, who had yet to hit a fairway over the first nine holes of the final round of the Masters, was hitting on a benign-looking bunch of pine needles when his club struck a hidden root and it sent reverberations up his right arm and into his shoulder.
